Abrasion Resistant Rubber Sandblast Hose - China Suppliers & Factory for High-Performance Conveying Solutions
General construction for sandblasting hose (all can be customized according to customers’ requests):
- Inner rubber layer: Natural rubber, butadiene rubber and other compound rubbers are used as the main raw materials, and special reinforcing agents are added.
- Reinforcement layer: High-quality fiber cloth (canvas) or chemical fiber cloth (cord) is used as the reinforcement layer, which has good flexibility and strong bearing capacity.
- Outer rubber layer: Natural rubber and composite rubber are used, which are wear-resistant, anti-oxidation, and ensure a long service life.
This kind of rubber hoses with a diameter below 51mm (containing 51mm) are usually called sandblast rubber hoses. For diameters above 51mm, they are called wear resistant rubber hoses.
Applications
Widely used in various specifications and models of sandblasting machines, shotcrete machines, and also widely used as rust removal for tunnels, construction, shipbuilding hulls, and oil storage tanks, as well as rustproofing for bridges and water conservancy engineering gates.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q
What are the main components of a sandblasting hose construction?
A sandblasting hose consists of three layers: an inner rubber layer made of natural and butadiene rubber with reinforcing agents; a reinforcement layer made of high-quality fiber cloth or chemical fiber cloth; and an outer rubber layer made of wear-resistant and anti-oxidation natural and composite rubber.
Q
What is the difference between a sandblast rubber hose and a wear-resistant rubber hose?
The differentiation is based on the hose diameter. Rubber hoses with a diameter of 51mm or below are classified as sandblast rubber hoses, while hoses with a diameter above 51mm are referred to as wear-resistant rubber hoses.
Q
What media can be conveyed using these hoses?
These hoses are designed to convey highly abrasive media, including quartz sand, steel sand, silt, steel balls, cement powder, cement concrete, dry mortar, coal powder, carbon powder, mineral powder, and ore slurry.
Q
Where are sandblasting hoses typically applied?
They are widely used in sandblasting and shotcrete machines. They are also commonly applied for rust removal on tunnels, construction sites, shipbuilding hulls, oil storage tanks, and for rustproofing work on bridges and water conservancy gates.
Q
Can I customize the specifications of the sandblast hose?
Yes, all sandblast hoses can be fully customized according to customers' requests, including custom large diameters, special working pressures, specific lengths, and custom appearance colors.
Q
What is the standard working and burst pressure for these hoses?
According to the general data sheet, the standard working pressure (W.P.) is 12 bar (157 psi), and the burst pressure (B.P.) is 36 bar (530 psi) across the listed sizes.
