Hose skiving machine operating instructions:

• 1 Before starting the machine, the protective cover must be installed, and check whether there are people or obstacles in front and behind the hose skiving machine.
• 2 The power must be cut off when opening the protective cover for inspection.
• 3 Before starting the machine, it is necessary to check whether the rotary knife and the mold core meet the specifications of the rubber hose.
• 4 Before starting the machine, carefully measure the distance between the rotary knife and the mold core. Based on the measured length, determine the degree of skiving, calculate the data between the rotary knife and the hose steel wire layer. Using the same specifications of scrap material to test peeling in advance. When trying to peel and adjust the knife, you should gradually adjust it from the large diameter to the small diameter, until the rubber is peeled off cleanly, then normal work can be carried out.
• 5 If any abnormality is found when the hose skiving machine is running, it should be stopped immediately and its situation should be reported.
• 6 When the skiving machine is running, the hose held by the operator must be kept balanced, and must not swing up and down to prevent the rotary knife from scratching the hose wire.
• 7 The rotary knife must be firmly fixed, and the knife must not be struck too hard. When peeling rubber, it is prohibited to remove the cut rubber strip by hand to avoid danger.
• 8 Individuals who have not received special training for this job, will be not allowed to operate this machine.
• 9 After the skiving work is completed, turn off the main power supply, clean up the work site, keep the machine and ground clean and hygienic.
